Pictures!

These are some of the islands just off the coast. The one to the left is Dove Cay and to the left of THAT is 3 rocks named Huey, Dewey and Louie (HDL) and we'll be doing some snorkeling there. The island to the right is called Long Cay (because it's long...)

This is one of the nicer churces in town. I think we have like 11 of them? This was the Methodist church. There's pretty much every Christian denomination represented.

This is one of the roads in town. It's still pretty rough from the hurricanes too, but they're rebuilinding and trying to beutify for the tourism industry that's on it's way.

This is the front of the center, it's still getting worked on, but it's looking really good so far from where it came!

So that's the water! Haha, the camera doesnt do it justice. It's so beautiful.

Yesterday was great, we started class introductions, and I'm pretty excited about them. I'm taking Marine Resource Mangement, Environmental Policy and Marine Ecology.

We also had a snorkel exercise around the dock that was about responsible snorkeling, basically dont kick people or animals or coral with your fins and don't touch anything because it all bites.

And then...last night...the most incredible thing happened.....THE PILLOW SHIPMENT CAME IN! Hahah, everything here is on island time. The pillows were supposed to be here like two weeks ago, but it just didn't happen. We're still sleeping on air matresses, but we have pillows now. We're civilized! Haha

I also took my first salt water bath yesterday. It helped...but its sure not the same as a steaming hot shower with freshwater...hahah.

That about all for now, it's time for breakfast and I'm starving!
