Hello all!

So I'm back from Spring break and had a wonderful time with my parents!

We (myself and 11 of my fellow students) flew into Provo Tuesday evening. Most of our parents weren't coming until Wednesday morning/afternoon, so we just spent the day hanging around the pool or beach and exploring Provo.

The week was spent on the beach, at the pool, diving, wakeboarding and eating wonderful local seafood (and margaritas!). It was a really nice week, great to see the parents again and I know they had an awesome time. It was a little weird, being back in civilization, with freshwater showers and air conditioning...but it was fun.

We came back to South on Sunday and jumped RIGHT back into work. We were met with a jam-packed shedule and a note that our pipes were broken so until further notice, no freshwater. It was great to be home....haha. Since then, we've been working on an eco-tourism project, designing a profitable, but still eco-friendly resort on a specific island of the TCI. We had West Caicos, a tiny unihabited island with no infrastructure, docks or anything...just a bunch of rock iguanas and flamingos. It was more of a challenge than we expected! Also on the table is our big conch paper, which most of us will be frantically pulling together tonight (it's due tomorrow....)

Other than school work, things are great! We went lionfish hunting yesterday (they're an invasive species and they're messing a lot of things up in the Caribbean). We saw two, but didn't catch them because the current was too strong and the water was too deep.

We have a new dive safety officer coming in today, so hopefully we'll be diving again by Saturday!
